Clients
Maintain client organisations, contacts, addresses, and their connected projects.
Clients stores the organisations and people your team delivers work for. Keeping client records complete makes project setup, communication, addresses, and reporting more reliable.
Browse clients
The Clients page shows summary analytics, search and filter controls, and a table of client records. Select a client to open its detail page.
Depending on your permissions, you can:
- Search and filter clients
- Add a client
- Edit client information
- Review linked contacts and projects
- Change status or remove a record
Add a client
Select Add Client and enter the available organisation details. Add accurate contact and address information so it can be reused during project creation.
Recommended information includes:
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Client name | Identifies the organisation throughout Modora |
| Email and phone | Provides primary communication details |
| Addresses | Supplies selectable locations when creating a project |
| Contacts | Identifies the people associated with the client |
| Status | Controls whether the client is available for active workflows |
Client addresses
A client can have more than one address. Use clear labels such as Head Office, Billing, or Project Site so project creators can select the correct location.
When a client has one address, Modora may populate project address fields automatically. When several are available, the project creator chooses one.
Client contacts
Add contacts from the client detail page. Contacts can be associated with the client’s work without being treated as internal workspace users.
Connected projects
The client detail page provides context about work linked to the client. Create the client before the project whenever possible, then select it in the project form and assign the relevant contacts.
Maintain clean records
- Search before creating a client to avoid duplicates.
- Keep inactive clients instead of recreating historical records.
- Update shared addresses at the client level.
- Confirm linked projects before deleting anything.
Why can’t I select a client on a project?+
Check that the client is active and that your role can view clients. If it was just created, clear the project form search and select it again.
