Vendors keeps external suppliers and specialists organised in one directory. Use vendor records to maintain reliable contact information and support project procurement workflows.

Browse vendors

Open Vendors to see vendor analytics and the vendor table. Search or filter the list, then select a row to open the vendor detail page.

Your permissions determine whether you can:

  • View vendor records
  • Add or edit vendors
  • Maintain vendor contacts
  • Update vendor status
  • Remove vendor records

Add a vendor

Select Add Vendor and enter the organisation’s key details. Include enough information for other team members to identify and contact the correct supplier.

Capture:

  • Vendor or trading name
  • Primary email and phone number
  • Address information
  • Relevant specialisations
  • Active or inactive status

Specialisations

Specialisations describe the categories of work a vendor can perform, such as electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, or fabrication. Keep these accurate so teams can find suitable vendors quickly.

Vendor contacts

Use the vendor detail page to maintain individual contacts. Contacts remain associated with their vendor organisation and can receive access appropriate to their external user role.

Good record hygiene

  1. Search for the vendor before creating a new record.
  2. Use a consistent organisation name.
  3. Add only verified contact details.
  4. Review specialisations periodically.
  5. Mark vendors inactive when they should no longer be selected.
Why can’t a vendor sign in?+

Confirm that the vendor is active, the contact has completed their invitation, and their role has the required application and project access.
