Projects are the centre of work in Modora. Each project connects its client, team, programme, files, tasks, site records, commercial information, and reports in one place.

Browse projects

Open Projects from the main navigation. The overview combines project analytics with a searchable project table.

Use the available controls to:

  • Search by project information
  • Filter the list by project status
  • Move through paginated results
  • Open a project by selecting its row
  • Edit a project when your permissions allow it

Create a project

Select Add Project, then complete the project form. Required fields are marked in the interface.

AreaInformation
ClientClient, client contacts, and a saved client address
ProjectName, type, description, and attachments
LocationAddress, city, and state
ScheduleStart date, end date, and duration
CommercialCurrency and relevant project values
TeamProject manager, internal members, and approval users

When a client has one saved address, Modora can apply it automatically. If several addresses exist, choose the correct project location.

Work inside a project

Open a project to access its available modules. Visibility depends on module access configured for your role.

  • Summary — project details, progress, and linked records
  • Quotation — commercial line items and client quotations
  • Files — folders, uploads, and project documents
  • Tasks — assigned work and approval progress
  • Timeline — project phases, tasks, and programme dates
  • Snags — issues recorded against the project
  • MOM — minutes of meeting and follow-up actions
  • Payment — invoices and payment records
  • Site Visit — scheduled visits and visit summaries
  • Reports — project reporting views

Manage the project team

Project managers and authorised users can add internal members and approval users. Assign people deliberately: project membership controls what records a person can see, while role permissions control what actions they can perform.

Edit project details

Use the project edit action to update its client information, dates, team, address, description, or attachments. Review linked records before making structural changes such as replacing a project manager or changing the project type.

  1. Create or confirm the client in Clients.
  2. Prepare reusable master data in Settings.
  3. Create the project and assign its manager.
  4. Add the delivery team and approval users.
  5. Confirm the timeline and project modules.
  6. Start recording tasks, files, site visits, and quality records.
Why can’t I see a project?+

Confirm that the project is active, that you are assigned to it, and that your role has access to the Projects module. A workspace administrator can review your assignment and module access.
